The ValleyExplore.com team would like to thank the many people in Renfrew County who have helped us by imparting their vast knowledge of the county's natural and heritage wonders. It is not possible to thank everyone who has contributed. However, special thanks go to Richard Richardson who has volunteered countless hours, on day-trips, researching, writing, editing and taking photographs for the web site, in pursuit of preserving Renfrew County's natural environment. Thanks also go to John Walden, Economic Development officer in Deep River who was first contacted about the idea of a trail web site and to Hollee Kew and Diane McKinnon of the Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation who whole-heartedly championed and initiated funding for the project.
